Welcome to the Brockton Library Foundation , Inc. Website

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Brockton Public Library System.  We provide support through fundraising and volunteer activities.  None of our members receive any pay for their efforts.  One hundred percent of membership and fundraising goes into funding library programs and services.

Please help us make the Brockton Public Library System a beacon of opportunity for everyone in the community who wants to learn and grow through all of the programs and services offered by the Brockton Public Library System.

Eve of Summer Solstice  

The Brockton Library Foundation and the Brockton Historical Society, in partnership with the Greater Brockton Society for Poetry and the Arts present, “CITY LIGHTS,” an evening of music, art, poetry and fabulous food and drink. The Brockton Public Library at 304 Main Street, on the corner of White Avenue will be the scene of a night to remember. Prepare to be thrilled as we bring back the “good old days” when “going downtown” meant dressing up and celebrating the cultural life of a sophisticated city.

Free at the Brockton Public Library!!!!

You can take out movies on DVD and VHS, Books on CD for you commuters, Music CD's, and of course books.  All for free.....so save your money and come on into the library and we will entertain you.

That's not all we have children's and adult programs, all for free so come on down and enjoy the library. And if you can afford to become a member of the Brockton Library Foundation and donate to this worthy cause.

Meeting Schedule

Second Wednesday of each month. 

Our next meeting will be in June 10th at the West Branch.

The meetings start at 6:30 PM
