Brockton Library Foundation, Inc.

The Brockton Library Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in 1993 as a non-profit organization whose sole purpose was to support the Brockton Public Library System with  community based support.  The IRS has recognized the BLF as a 501(C)(3)  corporation and all donations to the BLF are tax deductible.

Over the last 14 years the BLF and its members have been instrumental in modernizing the Brockton Public Library System.  Through our efforts the library system has been able to;
  • Computerize the Brockton library system
  • Fund public access computers for patron use
  • Completed a 10 million dollar renovation and expansion of the Main library
  • Completed a complete renovation of the East Branch library
  • Annually fund the Museum pass program
  • Annually fund numerous children's and adult programs
  • Maintain city and state funding of the library system through advocacy

Our goal this year is to completely renovate the West Branch library.
