August 2007     East Branch Library renovation completed.

The Brockton Library Foundation, Inc. funded a complete renovation of the East Branch of the Brockton Public Library System.  The renovation cost approximately $ 700,000.00 dollars and completely overhauled the branch including;

  • New handicap accessible lift system
  • New roof
  • New windows
  • New children's room
  • New carpets
  • New heating and air conditioning system
  • New lighting systems
With the completion of the East branch renovation it is now completely handicap accessible and will make the patron experience a more comfortable and enjoyable one.

The renovation project is the first phase of a two phase project.  The second phase will be the renovation of the West branch of the Brockton Public Library System.

We are actively seeking to raise $350,000.00 dollars to complete this project.
